(West Midlands - UK) A remarkable Rising Star Band. This is 1940s-style Jazz and Swing at its best. Sticky Wicket is one of the finest drummers/percussionists; he worked with Chris Barber, Steve Gibsons,Lonnie Donnegan and Van Morrison. The band includes the formidable alto sax playing of young Simon Meredith; an outstanding musician blessed with an ability to swing any audience into bad health.
